You might have seen signs from candidates for a county constable position.

Here is the description for your convenience: "The Constable is the chief process server of the precinct and is also required to serve as the bailiff in the Justice of the Peace courts. The Constable's office executes and returns to courts all warrants, capias warrants, other criminal process, citations, subpoenas, forcibles and writs."
There are 4 positions. They are all up for election and you can vote for one, depending on where you live. They are in geographic districts. Your voter registration card will not tell you which one is your constable. Here is a website where you can see a map and you can enter your address to know for certain which constable is yours: https://maps. collincountytx.gov/ccmap_ constables/
Of the 4 races, two have incumbents and two do not. Here are the candidates:
